 Pondering...Karma

ooc: SOrt of a rant, more like Via's direct thoughts....

I had walked around the market at least six times before I went and sat on the dock. I had left the note Emma posted on my door at home, but remembered most of it. I jsut couldn't belive the Vulturi was coming here. And if I was correct, Karma would be with them. SHe hadn't answered my phone calls, the last place she was, supposedly, was in Volterra. Karma had always talked about the Vulturi. It was like she adored them. She was hungry for power. And the easiest way to get that power, some power, was to visit Aro and his crew.

I sighed. Okay, so if Karma did join the Vulturi, then I would be able to easily predict her moves, if she acted alone or in a group, where she was the hierarchy. But hten there was Jane to consider...No matter what you did, she had a strong power. Pain wasn't something you chased after...you ran from it, and that's what her power seems to be meant for. You get one taste of it, and then you DON'T ever want more.....How could she? Karma? Practically my sister..but that ddoesn't seem to be making a difference. She was more like an enemy now, she couldn't be trusted...

I looked at the market behind me, just gazing with no purpose or reason why. The smell of fresh fish, filled my lungs, I gaged and got up. I brushed little specks of dirt off my pants and then proceeded to walk outof the market. I felt like running....I walked behind a stall, away from open space, since I didn't like running in the open. I took a deep breath and pushed myself to a quick run. Pedestrians looked around as a cool breeze swept by them, I laughed before turning towards home.
